Barti Software released its latest artificial intelligence feature: the AI Office Copilot, developed in collaboration with Google Cloud Platform engineers.

This launch comes just a week after Barti added a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system to its Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software.

The AI Office Copilot represents “a leap forward in automating routine administrative tasks, freeing eye care professionals and staff from having to interrupt patient encounters to handle routine calls, and allowing them to focus entirely on their patients,” according to Barti.

Based on a built-in partnership with Google engineers, the A.I.-powered Office Copilot was designed to seamlessly pick up incoming calls through Barti’s VoIP, schedule appointments, collect patient information, and directly enter the details into Barti’s calendar – all in real time.

“With A.I. features like our AI Scribe and our AI Office Copilot, we simplify daily tasks for eye care providers, freeing up several hours each week,” said Colton Calandrella, CEO and Co-Founder of Barti Software. “We’re excited to collaborate with Google as one of their customers and partners. This partnership allows us to leverage Google’s advanced A.I. technology to enhance Barti’s EHR and practice management software.”

Barti’s new VoIP and AI Office Copilot are intended to create a smooth communication experience for the patient. By automating phone interactions, managing scheduling, and sending automated text reminders, Barti Software was designed to streamline the entire patient journey while allowing staff to focus on more critical tasks.

This all-in-one solution “sets a new industry standard for practice management in optometry, improving daily operations while reducing administrative burdens,” according to Barti.
