Randy Dannewitz has been named the new Chief Commercial Offier (CCO) of aura-ai. The company is bringing one of the optical industry’s most accomplished commercial and product development leaders to its executive team.
Dannewitz’s Professional Experience
Dannewitz joins aura-ai following an exceptional 12-year tenure at Vision Service Plan (VSP), where he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for VSP Optics. During his leadership, Dannewitz spearheaded the development and growth of the Unity portfolio, which became the most successful optical product brand introduced in the industry over the past decade. His strategic vision, market insight and commitment to innovation helped establish Unity as a leading premium lens brand trusted by eyecare professionals nationwide.
Prior to joining VSP, Dannewitz spent more than 10 years as Vice President of Marketing for Zeiss Optical, where he played a key role in strengthening the company’s market position through innovative product marketing and customer-focused business strategies.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Dannewitz will lead aura-ai’s commercial strategy, sales, marketing and business development initiatives as the company continues to expand its presence among independent eyecare professionals and optical laboratories.
